Beijing - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said Indonesia and China have agreed to explore possibilities of cooperation and exchange of dragons panda.
"Exchange traded dragons and pandas, all being investigated," he said on the sidelines of a state visit in Beijing, Saturday.
Stakeholders in Indonesia and China have agreed to sit together. They conduct research and explore the technical stuff about the concept of the exchange, especially related to the weather in both countries.
"Hopefully the dragons are not disturbed when they are cold, and during the summer panda is not compromised," he said.
In addition about the panda and the Komodo dragon, the President also touched on cooperation in trade swallow, cooperation electricity, natural gas, and plans for the establishment of Bank Mandiri's office in Shanghai.
Earlier, the governments of Indonesia and China agreed to establish the six areas of cooperation to improve the quality of friendship and prosperity of both countries.
The agreement was embodied in the signing of six memoranda of understanding which was witnessed by President Yudhoyono and President Hu Jintao on "The Great House of the People", Beijing, China, Friday.
The sixth agreement covers cooperation in the maritime field, the field of Chinese citizens travel plans to Indonesia, the development of marine and climate center.
Then the field of combating narcotics, illicit substances and psychotropic substances.
There was also cooperation in the field of statistical data exchange external goods, and archival cooperation between the National Archives and State Archives Administration of China.
