Borobudur, Central Java - Reading poetry by dozens of poets in the world Borobudur 1 to 2 April 2012, the momentum reflection on the exploration of their minds and hearts, said Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International-Indonesia Forum poet Dorothea Rosa Herliany.
"The reading of the poem may be a way for a poet to contemplate re-exploration of the mind and heart," he said at Borobudur, Magelang regency, Central Java, on Thursday.
Dozens of poets from various countries and cities in Indonesia will read their work at Lumbini Park complex of Borobudur Temple, 1-2 April 2012, the headline "International Poet-Indonesia Forum (FPII). They consisted of 17 foreign poets and 10 in the country.
Their presence in the temple of Borobudur as a series of literary travel to four cities in Indonesia that is Manila (1-3 April 2012), Pekalongan (4-6 April), Malaysia (7-9 April), and Surabaya (10-12 April)
A total of 42 poets who made up 17 came from abroad and another 25 planned for several cities in Indonesia following the event.
Among them were from Germany, the United States, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Macedonia. Indonesia among other poets came from Bali, Bogor, Madura, Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Apex.
"The composition of poetry readings in each city, 17 and 10 foreign poets in the country," said Rosa, who is also manager of "The House of Books DuniaTera" Borobudur, Magelang regency it.
He argues, reading their poetry at the Borobudur Temple has significance because it keeps a history and world culture. Borobudur Temple was built in the 8th century, the reign of the dynasty dynasty, established by UNESCO as a heritage of world civilization.
The poets of the world, according to him, a chance to reflect on the history of human civilization is contained in the Borobudur Temple.
In addition, he said, they also enrich each other's experiences through reading his poetry at the largest Buddhist temple complex in the world.
"Of course, they expected to get inspiration from Borobudur to great works of literature they are in the future," said Rosa, who is also the poet's Magelang.
The poets of the world will also be visiting the College of Islamic Boarding School Dormitory (API) Tegalrejo, Mertoyudan Seminary of Magelang Regency, Manila City Museum OHD, and following the People's Arts Festival held by the artists of farmers in the region Gejayan Merbabu in Hamlet, Village Banyusidi, District Magelang.
